Celebrating Labor Day in Tucson

Where did summer go? With Labor Day just around the corner, it's time to wrap up the season and move into fall. This three-day weekend, which starts Saturday, September 2nd and goes through Monday, September 4th is often a short holiday for many workers. It is also a final break before the new school year kicks off, which makes it the perfect opportunity for a pool party or barbecue. For our Tucson flower shop, it also means the end of our summer flowers and the arrival of fall flowers. Currently, we are putting together a new and unique fall flower collection that will launch in the next few weeks through our website and our Tucson flower shop. Until then, it's time to make the most of the summer flowers we have left that you can use to decorate your Labor Day celebration. You can also create a bouquet or centerpiece to give to a Labor Day party host as thanks for the invite. Here are some of the summer flower arrangements we still have available: Just Make Lemonade This lemonade-inspired flower arrangement is a festive display for the Labor Day weekend. This summer bouquet includes yellow lilies and lemons in a bubble bowl vase. Summer Brights This is a great flower arrangement to place on outdoor tables at your block party or barbecue for Labor Day. It offers a palette of primary colors in a compact vase. Summertime Splash This bright floral display contains yellow lilies, pink gerbera daisies, orange roses and alstroemeria, and other seasonal varieties. These are hand-arranged in a glass cube vase. Days of Sunshine Bouquet A Ming-style urn holds red roses and alstroemeria along with orange gladioli. It's a bright and bold flower arrangement that combines summer and fall seasons in one beautiful floral display. Artisanal Beauty Bouquet This is a spectacular flower arrangement that includes roses, alstroemeria, and stock. It comes displayed in a keepsake stoneware pitcher that is safe to use for drinks. The pitcher is hand-painted with embossed details. Deal of the Day - Designer Choice Summer Flowers Besides picking up a summer flower arrangement from our existing collection, you also have the option of letting our floral designers pick out flowers and colors based on your preferences. They can then create a custom flower arrangement just for you! It's a nice way to also enjoy something truly unique as the summer draws to a close. Flowers to Celebrate National Smile Week and Romance Awareness Month

There are at least two ways to show others this month how much you care about them. While you don't need a special occasion to do so, given all of our busy schedules, time goes by without us often getting the chance to communicate how we feel. That's why the second week in August, also known as National Smile Week, was created. It is meant to remind all of us that what we do affects others. We can use that influence for good by saying thank you, handing out hugs, or offering a kind gesture. Of course, those close to us might also smile when they receive a special gift from us.  Even closer people in our lives like our significant others may also enjoy the fact that we consider celebrating Romance Awareness Month, which is also designed with others in mind. To help you select something special and timeliness in beauty and message, we'd like to suggest these floral gift ideas that are affordable and are stunning ways to show your love for others: So Happy You're Mine Bouquet by Teleflora Send smiles with a yellow smiley face mug that is overflowing with red roses, pink alstroemeria, and miniature red and yellow carnations. Your recipient will continue to smile and think of you every time they use the mug for coffee or cocoa later on.
