It's Black Friday, which means we are open and offering many great deals and treats to welcome you to our Tucson flower shop. We are a one-stop shop for decorations and gifts for the holiday season, including wreaths, garlands, poinsettia plants, Christmas lilies, traditional Christmas centerpieces, flower arrangements, bouquets and more. You can find our Christmas collection in our shop as well as through our website. We'll have many deals and promotions throughout the season, including Small Business Saturday, which is tomorrow, and Cyber Monday. You can also order for a holiday party, event, or winter wedding right now or in the Tucson flower shop this weekend.  You may even want to make an appointment to meet with our floral design team to create a custom Christmas centerpiece or custom Christmas bouquet. However, we do have some great new holiday floral designs this year, including those that come with keepsake baskets, coffee mugs, vases, and other unique containers. There is something for everyone. Beyond the flowers and holiday plants, you'll also discover seasonal collectibles, gift baskets, and products from local artisans that are truly unique.  We'd love to see you and get to know you better during the holiday season so we'll be here waiting!

What about fall accents like leaves, branches, pumpkins and gourds, or acorns? These are things to have in mind before we start working with you. Think about your table size and shape, colors and flower varieties, and your budget. Do you also want other items like a fall wreath or garland? Join Us for the Sean Coleman Blood Drive

Here in Tucson, it's important to do things that support our community and our customers. That's why every year we get involved in the annual blood drive for Sean Coleman. After all, it's important to do our part in saving lives. That's why Mayfield Florist and The American Red Cross partner each year to do this event. This annual blood drive is held on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year, that date falls on November 25th. Come down and donate at our location at 7181 E. Tanque Verde Rd from 9am to 2pm that day. It's a way that each of you can help us provide others in the community with the support they need. Our Co-Owner, Dan Colman, has been doing this blood drive with the American Red Cross since 2003. It is a way honor his son Sean Coleman whose life was saved by a blood transfusion after he had a heart transplant when he was just four months old. After he was born, Sean was diagnosed with a heart defect that leads to the thickening of the heart walls. Eventually, this condition limits what the heart can do. This same condition was found in Sean's older brother, Patrick, at 13 months. However, doctors were not able to save him. Sean was placed on a transplant waiting list in hopes of surviving. Fortunately, a heart was located and he became the youngest heart transplant patient at University Medical Center. Today, Sean is an active young man who is living life to the fullest.  Don and his wife, Danielle Coleman, show their appreciation to all those who donate by giving a free dozen roses to each person who donates blood during this annual blood drive. It's important to always show others just how much you value their efforts, especially when it is giving of yourself in the form of a blood donation.  When you come and donate blood, you can keep the roses. Or, you have the option to donate them to Peppi's House (TMC Hospice) or the Diamond Children's Medical Center. Last year, 70 people from the surrounding Tucson community donated blood. We'd love to beat this turnout on November 25th Please contact Don Coleman at 520-885-6987 or American Red Cross at 520-230-7295 to schedule your appointment to help save lives as well as ask any questions before coming out.  If you do plan to come out and donate, we suggest eating a small meal first and drinking plenty of water. Bring your photo ID, wear a short-sleeved shirt, and don't exercise or lift heavy items after donating.  See you November 25th!
